anyways, I seem to be in some kind of stall in life. As Saboo has pointed out, It's time to get back into normal life. with the exception of one exam (12 days after my others. REALLY?!?!?), revision is over, and I need to re-learn how to look interested while my computing teachers drone on about absolutely nothing of interest whatsoever.

Also, I like to think that my "Comment Campaign" has worked slightly (Eminem, love the your mother comments), and so thank you for that

I have nothing else to say to be honest, so I'm off to the dentists, who will most probably tell me to stop drinking coffee.

Catch-up time

Wow. Just noticed I havent blogged in a while. Well, here we are!
The facts are these:
I passed my driving theory (GET'ER'DONE!!!)
I have started working (Relatively) insane hours at work
Me and Shogun are gonna have a supreme evening of amazement and wonder. And Pizza.

And thats about it! I started watching House, which is pretty awesome. And I have my second-to-last exam on Friday.

A quick thought. Why does no-one comment? There are quite a few of us who have blogs on here who all know each other, and no one is commenting!! It's like we are all trying to hold a conversation, but no-one is talking back. It's painful.

So I beseech you, one and all, people who I know, and people who I don't (if any of you are reading this), comment!!!

It is 12:08 on this glorious bank holiday Monday and I am going to work... AGAIN! Much the same as yesterday, I will be slowly dying by being cooked (no air con), while simultaneously not seeing the light of day for 4 hours and having to wear a pretty ridiculous outfit. Oh yeah...

Also, my team lost last night due to a failure of competence by the players. Nothing to do with how good we are (We're fairly brilliant), but because nobody turned up. It was me and the big S, and then we had to cajole other people into filling the numbers just so we could play (and LOSE).

Well, I'm going to eat before I leave for a fun-filled four hours.

Well, I just came home from work on a grand total of about 3 hours sleep and some SERIOUS de-hydration. Good times... But money is needed at the moment, so it's a means to an end. Upside is, this weather is gorgeous and I'm going outside to laze and read once I've finished this post.

Well, here I am lunchbreak-ing again. And it is not a good situation to be completely honest. I have exams Tomorrow, Thursday and Friday, and there is so much to revise. I feel like my head is about to explode...

In other news... there isn't any. I have been revising for the last 4 days straight, and I cannot wait until these stupid exams are out of the way and I can start worrying about how best to spend my summer. Ohh well...

That was odd

Because I am super cool (...), I follow a few blogs, even if I don't "Follow" them (on the follow tool). And one of these blogs was "James Goes Indigo", which has mysteriously died and been replaced with a sorry/goodbye. Anyone know what went on?

In other news, Exams are one day closer and I am really not looking forward to them!! Just another chance for me to reaffirm how little I know about the subjects that I have been doing for the last year. I just can't wait!

The Fantastic Physical world

I am, of course, talking about Physics the AS subject, not all the pretty plants, trees and animals that torment me through the window while I sit in my dining room and nurture a deep, festering loathing for Hooke, Young and all of their physicist friends.

I have just spent 2 and a half wonderful hours going over and refining my notes, had three pens give up life whilst doing so, and am now taking a half an hour lunch break before I thrust myself into practise papers and mock exams. Help!!

Well, after thursday, it will all be over, one way or another. I'm hoping that all of this revision pays off and I can scrape a decent grade so that I have a shot of getting into a decent university. But I wont find that out until august. Fun with exam boards...

Realisations

Well, it is quarter to midnight and this means that the week is coming to a close. And I am not happy about it. This is because I have realised that:
1. My epically heavy week of exams is starting
2. Tomorrow is monday. I dislike mondays
3. It has forced me to write a list. I dislike lists slightly more than mondays

But it's mainly the exams. I have 5 exams all squashed in to three fun-filled days on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. I hate AS levels...

Ahh well, cannot be helped. For now, I must be getting some sleep, to truly prepare for my immersion into the world of Physics first thing on the morrow.

Sundays

Well, today was scintillating. I went to work, came home, ate veggie lasagne (damn you sister!) and then revised mechanics. Love it...

Ah well. On the bright side, I am now keeping down solids, which was confirmed by the aforementioned lasagne, and can sit for the length of time it takes to do a mechanics paper without dashing to empty the contents of my stomach the wrong way. So a better day that yesterday!!

And study leave has started. things are, in fact, looking quite good.

And now, I am off to Duct tape my sisters mouth shut, as she will not stop singing "I will survive". VERY annoying

Bad meat...

Have spent the entire day dealing with the fact that my stomach is rejecting anything and everything I eat. I have just forced down some dry toast. DRY TOAST?!? What have I been reduced to?

It is, however, slightly preferable to the 3 hour exam I had yesterday which served no purpose except for convincing me that I am stupid and do not deserve to be called an AS level computing student. fortunately, I was not alone in the feeling. Aah, good teaching, how I wish I had experienced it...

What a load of shit

In answer to the question in your mind about the title of this particular piece, I'm talking about exams and revision. I have been revising crazily for about the last 2 and a half weeks, and the thought has struck me that the exams that we all regard so highly, in most cases, have nothing to do with knowing things. They require us to memorize things, and that really, REALLY pisses me off!

For instance, I am, in all honesty, a complete nerd. I do maths, which is still one of the subjects that requires some skill and understanding. but I also do Computer science, and with my exam coming up I have been trying to share my revision with some other members of my class. And they really don't actually know anything!! They spout, pretty much word for word, stuff out of the book and have no grasp of it, and yet they will be the ones who pass these exams. GAH!!

Anyways, rant over. Other than that filthy realisation, I'm having a lovely evening. Hope the same can be said for anyone who is reading this.
